How Do We Live a Lifestyle of Worship?

Romans 12:1-2 Living Sacrifices

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies
as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

1. The principle of DEDICATION. (V.1)

• Worship is VOLUNTARY dedication of your life to God. We live for God not out of OBLIGATION, but out of GRATITUDE.
• Worship is PRACTICAL dedication of your life to God.

1 Cor 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who
is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were
bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

• Worship is COMPLETE dedication of your life to God.

Three Reasons We Should Live For God’s Pleasure

Living a life of worship is God’s GOOD WILL for you.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Living a life of worship is God’s PLEASING WILL for you.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Living a life of worship is God’s PERFECT WILL for you.
